WALDO PEIRCE (American, 1884-1970) STILL LIFE OF FRUIT. Oil on canvas scene shows pint basket of red fruit which could be cherry tomatoes or a red fruit. Next to it is a plate of either olives or mussels. This is seen on a green tablecloth, which overlooks a beach and blue ocean. A crumpled napkin is seen on right side. Signed lower left “WP 62”. Signed and dated on reverse of canvas. Housed in a simple textured wood frame. SIZE: 12” x 18”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96691 (500-1,000)
