MARTIALLY MARKED SMITH & WESSON FIRST MODEL SCHOFIELD REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Schofield. Usual configuration with 7” keyhole ribbed bbl with 2-piece smooth walnut grips and a small “US” on the butt. It has the proper “P” proofs on the various parts. SN 841 CONDITION: Good, all matching except the grips, which are numbered to another revolver. The metal is a cleaned medium gray patina with light surface discolorations. The Grips are smooth and dark, showing moderate wear. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-49606 JR 437 (1,800-2,500)
