SMITH & WESSON NEW MODEL #3 TARGET REVOLVER. Cal. 38. Nickel finish, 6-1/2” keyhole ribbed bbl, 2-line address, target front sight with adjustable rear sight. Fitted with 2-pc monogrammed hard rubber grips. Backstrap and butt are drilled and tapped for a non-factory shoulder stock that is missing. Cylinder is marked with what may be vise marks or some stamp unknown to this cataloger. SN 28015. CONDITION: Fine, all matching except the grips that are unnumbered. Grip stud is a replacement. Retains about 70-75% original nickel overall with the bbl mostly bare metal. Grips are fine with light wear. Bore is brilliant and shiny, mechanics are fine. 4-47977 (2,500-4,000)
