WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). Standard grade rifle with 24” round bbl, half-nickel front sight and replacement original equipment semi buckhorn rear sight. It has uncheckered wood, straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. SN 10519. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl and magazine tube retain 30-40% thinning blue, strong in the sheltered areas with the balance a medium patina. The receiver retains 65-70% thin blue with the balance a light patina. The lever and hammer retain 60-70% dark case colors. Wood is sound with no original finish remaining, light oil stains at the receiver with only minor handling and use marks.
