EXTENDED THREE SEAT HUBLEY BRAKE. Of the 2 versions of the 3 seat Hubley Brake this is possibly the more difficult version to find. The difference being the rear seat extends over and past the end of the carriage. Once again, a typical means of transportation amongst the wealthy of the time period, this carriage would take the elite on a journey of some distance. Accompanying the driver on this journey are 3 ladies, a gentleman of means and a footman. The black carriage with red under-frame and wiffle tree is being drawn by a white (repainted) and a black horse. SIZE: 18″. CONDITION: Overall condition is good to very good, the figures are repainted and possibly replacements. Wheels appear to have some over-paint. 1-6010 JL (6,000-10,000)
