*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 SPCL. Standard grade rifle with 26” oct bbl, full magazine, half nickel front sight with screw, smokeless rear sight, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. Accompanied by Cody Museum yellow sheet. SN 279404. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl and magazine tube retains 95-97% strong bright original blue with minor edge wear and a scattered pinpoint or two of rust. The receiver retains about 90% original blue, thin on the top and bottom with a clean spot or two on either side and some minor scratches. Wood is sound with the stock retaining most of an old refinish and the forearm about 70% of a wipe on finish. Strong bright bore, frosty in the grooves. 4-49987 (1,500-2,000)
