PATENT MODEL: G.T. FOSTER PEAT MACHINE. Original patent tag #62951 dated Match 19th 1867. Wood model has large crank which turns a coffee mill type apparatus and dispenses peat out a hole to be formed by a moving tray. Wood appears to be walnut and cherry with metal gears and crank. SIZE: 9-1/2″ h x 9″ w x 11″ with crank. CONDITION: Very good. 1-28918 (400-600)
