22″ FRENCH BRU. This doll is marked “Bru Jne R” on the rear of the head. She has an open mouth with blue sleep eyes. This doll is known as the “Walking, Kiss-Throwing Bru”. As you pull the string coming from her torso, this raises her right forearm, giving the illusion of blowing a kiss. She has an antique white silk dress, brown human-hair wig and ORIGINAL marked Bru Jne shoes. RARE 26″ SIZE 12 LONG FACE JUMEAU. Marked Jumeau body in near excellent original condition. Plaster has been added to eyes. Doll comes in fancy ivory colored dress (some deterioration on sleeves). Shoes are marked “12”. Also included are a pair of white shoes (also marked “12”) wonderful pale blue bonnet, blue silk dress and ivory cape with bonnet, parasol and a charming wire rimmed hat. RARE AND DESIRABLE 13-1/2″ A4T FRENCH DOLL. An outstanding example of a rare French A. Thullier doll recently found in a Maine estate. The amber paperweight eyes with original setting give this young lady a somber look. Well-modeled, fine bisque enhances this doll. Doll retains original marked A4T shoes and socks. She has some underwear and later clothes that we do not believe to be original. CONDITION: The kid body is intact and in very good condition with the exception of small damage to right knee joint. Lacking cork pate and wig. The right bisque hand has a missing thumb and some minor scuffing to the fingers. She has a pinpoint white spot on one cheek otherwise the bisque is near flawless. 29070 (15,000-20,000)
