WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SEMI DELUXE TAKEDOWN LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 25-20. Scarce rifle with 24” oct bbl, full magazine with “I” style checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with crescent steel buttplate. Bbl has replacement sights and the receiver a tang sight. Accompanied by Cody Museum yellow sheet. SN 157457. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl retains about 90% dull original blue with light surface spotting, edge wear and a ding over the chamber area. The magazine tube retains 88-90% plum blue and the receiver about 95% blue turning plum. The lever retains 15-20% case colors and the hammer about 75%. Wood is sound and retains 75-80% original finish with light handling and use marks. The checkering has been freshened. Bright shiny bore. 4-49980 JR205 (3,000-4,000)
