ENGLISH SILVER PLATED DOME MEAT COVER AND FOOTED SERVING BOWL. Meat cover hallmarked 1850-1 and EB & JB (E & J Barnard). There are three other hallmarks that look like a flame, a shield and a letter. Dome has engraved monogram with a set of wings and banner “Aye Forward”. Removable handle with wing nut. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection. SIZE: 4-1/2” h (without handle) x 12-3/4” l x 9” w. Serving bowl is rectangular having short foot and gadrooned edge. SIZE: 5” h x 12” x 9”. CONDITION: Bowl has been altered by removing handles and applying base. Cover is good. 9-25226 (150-250)
