TWO AMERICAN SACK-BACK WINDSOR ARMCHAIRS. Late 19th Century. Each seven spindle example with nicely carved and formed knuckle arms. First with pine seat and hickory crest rail. Crest rail has two spliced repairs. The first a New York example with the second probably a Philadelphia example. SIZE: 39″ h x 18″ seat h; 38″ h x 17-1/2″ seat h. CONDITION: Both have been stripped and refinished. As noted above. 9-91362 (1,000-2,000)
