*SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 32-40. Beautiful carbine with 20” round bbl, button magazine, with German silver blade square base front sight and 2,000 yd carbine ladder sight. It has a stud and ring in the left side of the receiver and, what appear to be Belgian proof marks on bbl, receiver, and bolt. It has nicely figured wood with straight stock and smooth carbine buttplate. SN 475634. CONDITION: Extremely fine to as new, probably unfired with factory grease still in the receiver. Retains virtually all its bright original factory finish to both metal and wood with only a few very minor scratches on the right side of the receiver and a couple of minor handling and storage marks on the wood. The lever and hammer retain virtually all their beautiful case colors. Brilliant shiny bore. An exceptional carbine seldom encountered. 4-49986 JR211 (4,500-6,500)
