JAMES EARL TAYLOR (American, 1839-1901) NAVAL BATTLE, 1886. Fine ink on paper scene shows a Naval officer wounded and being tended to and watched by several officers and sailors. They are positioned on the deck with other wounded and dead comrades. Signed lower right “James E. Taylor 1886”. Housed in a modern gilt decorated frame with white matte. Several gallery labels on reverse. SIZE: 14” x 19”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-95366 (4,000-6,000)
