PAIR OF FABULOUS CARVED AND DECORATED FOLK ART FRAMES. Similar frames are five sided in twig form with interior having two oval cutouts for portraits. Around the two ovals are carved shields, diamonds, fans and segmented wheels. At one time there were leaves applied to each of the five corners and only three are present. Circa Civil War period. SIZE: 14-1/2” dia. CONDITION: Generally very good. There are some breaks at the end of twigs. 9-27676 (400-800)
