REMINGTON MODEL 1870 ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE.

REMINGTON MODEL 1870 ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE. Cal .50. 32-5/8” round bbl. These guns were made at Springfield using a Remington action with the rest of the parts made at Springfield. This one has been restored with new inspector marks added to bbl after cleaning and polishing. The forearm has a catch for a bulbous ramrod but a straight one is installed. Wood, bbl band springs and forearm tip are new, other parts are restored. NSN CONDITION: There is fire scale on the action which is also battered in places. Restored metal and wood is fine. Action is fine, bore is fair. 4-49618 FS92 (750-1,500)
