PINE NEW ENGLAND TALL CLOCK IN RED PAINT. 18th Century Connecticut type case has been stripped down to its original red paint. Tombstone door with detailed fan carving and rope type rectangular carving. Reeded quarter columns and carved moldings. Base sits on molded edge. Hood with similar carvings and reeded posts has seven small fan carvings on door. 19th Century wooden works with unmarked painted dial having two birds on a branch and decorative painted corners. Pendulum bob and weights present. Rod missing. SIZE: 87-1/2” h. CONDITION: Dial has vertical cracking, minute hand missing. Case in wonderful condition. 9-94458 (5,000-7,500)
