MAHOGANY CHIPPENDALE SIDE CHAIR. 18th century, probably Philadelphia. The nicely carved curving splat meets a well carved and formed crest. Slip seat with front molded edge square legs. Dovetailed stretcher, mortised side seat rails. SIZE: 39” h x 17” to top of seat rail. CONDITION: Very good, only minor old repairs including glue blocks. 9-27975 (1,000-1,500)
