NICE GRAIN PAINTED TWO DRAWER LIFT TOP BLANKET CHEST. The mustard and brown grain painting with sponge decorated sections. The two long drawers are fitted with wood knobs below a lift top compartment with lidded till. 18th Century chest with 19th Century decoration probably of Maine origin. PROVENANCE: Purchased from John Stone. SIZE: 41-1/2” h, Case 42”w x 21-1/2”d. CONDITION: Nice paint surface with some wear, mostly on top surface, hinge repair, otherwise very good. 9-72322 (3,000-5,000)
