*REMINGTON MODEL 03A4 SNIPER RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. Standard 03A4 with bbl dated 12-43, mounted in a semi pistol grip stock with usual proofs and a RIA cartouche on the left side of the butt. The receiver is mounted with a parkerized Redfield base and has blued rings containing an authentic military Texan or Alaskan style scope with blued 7/8” tube. The left side of the tube has usual markings with serial and stock numbers. All the visible parts on the scope have part numbers. Accompanied by a letter from the previous owner stating the rifle was sold as surplus out of the Quantico Marine Station Museum in the 60’s. SN 4996606. CONDITION: Excellent plus, appears unfired with the metal retaining virtually all its fine greenish parkerized finish. The stock, possibly an old refinish retains a fine oil finish.
