EMILE ALBERT GRUPPE (American, 1896-1978) HILLSIDE OAK. Oil on canvas landscape shows rocky hillside with large oak tree having brilliant orange foliage. Seen through the foliage is a bright blue sky. Hillside is covered with large rocks and green grass covered with fallen orange leaves. Signed lower right “Emile A. Gruppe”.
