VERY OLD AMERICAN HUNTING BAG WITH HORN. Medium weight leather hand stitched 2-pc bag, 8-1/2” x 11” with an undecorated flap and shoulder strap from which is appended a small old powder horn and a small tin powder measure. The horn is about 9”, undecorated with a beveled edge flush mounted plug having an iron wire staple. The spout end is faceted carved with the original wooden plug. It has a leather strap through the staple and around the spout head. CONDITION: Fair, very worn and often repaired with dry rotted flap and shoulder straps. The horn is fine with a mellow gold color and black tip with a few minor bug holes and one chip at the plug end. 4-49190 JR290 (300-500)
