LOT OF 3 N.Y. CENTRAL TRAIN CANDY CONTAINERS Nice set of 3 New York Central trains with detailed embossing, glass couplers, and black tin slide-on closures. Locomotive is marked “N.Y.C.” and has tin litho closure with colorful image of inside of cabin with two men tending to operation of train. Underside marked “W. Glass Co., Grapeville, PA, Net Wt. 1 1/4 Oz.” Also includes Coal Car marked “N.Y.C.” on either side and “Pat. Apld. For” on bottom. Also includes Parlor Car with embossed wheels, doors and windows (replaced closure). Marked “New York Central, Parlor Car” on either side and “Pat. Apld. For” on bottom. Raised black and green closure fits atop raised center roof. SIZE: Longest is 5″, 12-1/2″ overall assembled. CONDITION: Glass couplers on coal car have chips and have been repaired. Parlor Car has concealed fleabites under closure and chipped couplers. Locomotive is very good. 1-29931-596 (400-700)
