LOT OF 4 OVERLAND LIMITED TRAIN CANDY CONTAINERS Versions with couplers. Lot includes Locomotive, Coal Car, Angeline Coach, and Esther Coach. Ca. 1915, Jeannette Glass Co. All are embossed with bottom flanges, which hold axis and tin wheels, with replacement tin slide-on closures (locomotive wheels and closure appear original). Locomotive marked “888” below windows, “Jnet Glass Co.” on right and “Pat. Apld. For” on left. Coal Car is marked “Overland Limited” on either side and “Jnet Glass Co., Pat. Apld. For” between wheels. Angeline is marked with name and company info like others and features several embossed arched and round windows. Esther is similar, but marked “Esther”. SIZE: Longest is 6-1/2″. CONDITION: Cars have various chips, concentrated to bottom, under closure and to couplers (Coal Car also has one chip up top). Lot averages fair to good. 1-29931-597 (500-800)
