MARTINI ENFIELD BAYONET. 21-3/4” triangular blade with numerous Canadian issue marks. There are also Canadian issue marks on the leather scabbard. An old cardboard tag reading “Presented to E.L. Hodgoorin(?) by Lieut Louis McCoy Keilton US Navy captured at Luzon Islands Philippine Islands 1st September 1902”. This note is in fragments and is difficult to read. There is no information on who captured it or from whom. CONDITION: Very good with bright blade and moderate pitting on the blue socket. Scabbard is solid but little finish remains. 4-50131 X53 (200-400)
