HASKELL AND ALLEN (Publishers, 19th Century) “COMING FROM THE TROT”. Titled in margin also “Published by Haskell & Allen 61 Hanover St. Boston, Mass.” Dated “1873”. The colorful scene shows a large group of one, two and four horse carriages. Two carriages have crashed and some carriages seem to be racing each other. A race track is seen in the distance, with a large mansion, in upper right, flying the US flag. Housed in an antique, walnut frame with gold liner. SIGHT SIZE: 23 x 28-1/2”. CONDITION: Water stains to bottom margin and all over toning. Generally good. Not examined out of frame. 9-72039 (200-400)
