WWI GERMAN SAW-TOOTH BACK BAYONET. Simson & Co./Suhl made bayonet with 18-1/2” blade with coarse saw teeth down the back. It has an iron handguard with bbl port and reversed ball quillion. It has brass handle with serrations on the right side. It is accompanied by its original brass and leather sheath with a brown Rock Island marked frog from a U.S. socket bayonet. CONDITION: Blade is fine, handle with heavy patina and verdigris. Sheath is sound with flaked finish. Frog is dry. 4-49241-567 JR329 (300-500)
