UNIDENTIFIED BAYONET. 21-11/16” single fuller Yataghan blade with no markings. The hilt has two sets of numbers, the larger 71 is above 13 which is about 1/3 of its size. The scabbard does not fit the blade properly. Bbl diameter is .875, too large for a Model 1855 rifle. CONDITION: Smooth gray patina to the blade, brass has a dark patina. Scabbard has a soft bend in the middle and many chips to the finish. 4-49677 FS294 (200-400)
