HEPPLEWHITE INLAID MAHOGANY CORNER WASHSTAND. Circa 1800. Three-quarter splash guard with corner candle shelf joining the top shelf cut for wash bowl and pitcher with conforming bowed ebony string inlaid frieze on three square supports the medial shelf with central drawer flanked by sham drawers all with ebony stinging and brass knobs, the square supports continuing to the T-form lower shelf with shaped edge and molded holder for plants. Supports continuing to flared feet. SIZE: 43-1/2″ h overall x 25″ w x 18″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good with original surfaces. Some minor staining on work surfaces. Top shelf has had a repaired split as well as a repaired split to the right foot facing, well glues with minimal cracks showing. Otherwise old dark surfaces intact with no other repairs noted. 9-91454 (300-500)
