CLASSICAL CARVED MAHOGANY SERPENTINE FRONT CARD TABLE. Probably Salem, Mass., Samuel McIntire Shop, circa 1820. Hinged fold over top with bowed center section and turret corners above a mahogany veneered apron. Acanthus leaf carving with tapering spiral carved legs ending in a ball foot. Top edge is reeded, swing out back leg receives fold over top. At top of front legs is carved rose design with punched background. SIZE: 30” h x 36” w x 17-1/2” d. CONDITION: Very good, slight warp to top. 9-95058 (2,000-3,000)
