UNSIGNED (European, 18th Century) THE SLEEPING CHILD. Old Master oil on canvas shows a young child asleep in bed next to an open window with colorful landscape seen. A red curtain is seen on left side of window. Housed in an antique frame which has been cut down. SIZE: 24-3/4” x 30”. CONDITION: Old relining, chipping to paint surface, craquelure and restoration which can not be discerned due to a masking varnish. 9-27282 (3,500-5,500)
