UNSIGNED (European, 18th Century) OLD MASTER OF FROLICKING CHERUBS. Oil on canvas scene shows three cherubs, one blowing a long horn which has large red material attached with bows. The other two cherubs hold pink and white flowers in hands. Housed in a wide gilt molded wood frame which is old but not of the period. SIZE: 27” x 41-1/2”. CONDITION: Appears to have a 19th Century relining. Very good with a masking varnish which does not allow us to see any restoration. 9-27281 (5,500-7,500)
