RARE LIVERPOOL PITCHER. Creamware pitcher has three black transfers. One showing what appears to be an African scene of men in fighting match. Top of the oval vignette has a spray of flowers with a central African figure with feathered headdress, a bottle, fruit, umbrella, snake, etc. The other side has scene of men and woman with the top having an alligator and grasses. Both captions under vignettes are missing with only partial letters showing. Under spout is an oval portrait of a ship, ship’s flag at stern having a cross. SIZE: 7-3/4” h. CONDITION: Old discolored cracks, the largest running from the rim down below the spout having a small chip at the top. There are two flat chips on the base. 9-72211 (200-400)
