LOT OF TWO CIVIL WAR AND INDIAN WARS ERA BELT BUCKLES. 1) Mass Militia Civil War era buckle with the crest of Massachusetts on the face, complete with a tab. CONDITION: extremely fine, lots of original finish with a casting flaw in the upper left-hand corner, the buckle is numbered “424” and the tab “587”. 2) Indian Wars and possible Spanish American War officers belt plate of cast brass with fine American eagle surrounded by rays and with an applied German silver wreath. It is complete with its original tab, both serial number “217”. CONDITION: Very fine, light wear, wreath completely intact. 4-49321 JR343 (300-600)
