The rare first edition of Howes M-782(“dd,” “One of the earliest guides.”). In bright, clean contemporary tree calf with bright red spine label, clean split to front hinge, but still quite sound. Octavo, 52pp (complete) and 38 maps on 22 leaves (complete). Poor trim to page 19 with no loss and ample margin, inoffensive time toning, some offset (to blank pages on the maps) and minor foxing.
