A BRASS TWO-DAY MARINE CHRONOMETER BY CHADWICK, LIVERPOOL. NUMBER 386. Late 19th or 20th century. The silver dial with subsidiary seconds dial within a brass gimbal the dial marked “Chadwick, 69 Lord Street, Liverpool. No. 386″. Fitted in a brass bound mahogany case. Retains original key. SIZE: Dimensions of box 7 1/2 ” X 7 1/2 ” X 7 1/2″. CONDITION: The case and exterior of chronometer in very good condition overall. The backplate, once removed reveals a bent spring. The dial was not removed to inspect interior. 9-90916 (800-1,200)
