MANTON & SON FOWLING PIECE. Cal 12 ga. 32-1/4” part oct bbl marked “MANTON & SON” on the lockplate and “LONDON” on bbl. The patent cartouche on the breech plug is missing its gold. The platinum plug in the holster has been replaced with a screw. The forearm has also been altered with a new under rib, ramrod, pipes and a pewter tip. Hammer and screw are also replacements. NSN. CONDITION: Gray brown patina on clean surfaces. Wood has been repaired and refinished. Trigger guard and buttplate show heavy wear. Mechanically good. 4-49357 FS20 (200-300)
