CONVERTED KENTUCKY RIFLE. Cal. .42. 34-1/2” oct bbl. No markings on bbl. Lock is marked “Jacob” in front of the hammer, which has been replaced. Lock was converted to pill lock but the replacement hammer is a flintlock. The trigger guard is a simple bent piece of iron. This is probably a later assembly as only two of the lockplate screws are used. NSN. CONDITION: Bbl has been heavily filed and refinished. The toe of the stock and the adjacent buttplate are missing. Lock is functional but not usable without the correct hammer. 4-49183 FS2 (500-800)
