MAHOGANY PENNSYLVANIA CHIPPENDALE SLANT FRONT DESK. Molded edge slant lid opens to reveal fine interior with eight small drawers, eight small cubby holes. Center area has two drawers and large cubby flanked by two book form document drawers. The center section pulls out to reveal a four drawer secret compartment. Four graduated long drawers having original hardware. Reeded quarter columns and four nicely carved ogee feet. SIZE: 44” h x 39-3/4” w x 21-3/4” d. CONDITION: One section of back left foot missing. Otherwise very good in an old finish. Top shows some wear. 9-94489 (4,000-6,000)
