MINIATURE BELGIAN PERCUSSION MUSKET W/BAYONET. Cal .50. 31-7/8” round bbl. The 1842 date on bbl tang appears to be a later addition. Belgian proof marks on both sides of bbl. The 10-1/2” triangular bayonet is in a Nazi dagger scabbard. The bayonet slot is wider than the stud on bbl. NSN. CONDITION: Smooth gray patina with light surface rust and pitting except lock and hammer which have heat colors. Stock has a repair below the sideplate. Stock has been varnished but has some new scratches and considerable loss near the buttplate. Lock is fine. Bayonet has moderate pitting, locking ring is bent, scabbard is battered and rusty. 4-49184 X41 (1,000-2,000)
