GEORGE II ANTIQUE ENGLISH SILVER MUG BY PAUL DE LAMERIE. Made in the city of London in the year 1749 by the noted goldsmith Paul De Lamerie. Pear shaped mug with circular footed base has a well modeled scroll handle with leaf spur. Base with light hallmarks is engraved “This mug was manufactured by Paul De Lamerie Goldsmith to Queen Ann George I and George II”. PROVENANCE: S. J.
