AUTOGRAPH; FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT AND ELEANOR ROOSEVELT. A colored portrait drawing of Franklin D. Roosevelt by James. N. Jollatta. A shoulder portrait which is signed and titled by the artist and dated 6/20/33. Autographed “Franklin D. Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt” in pen. The piece is housed in a molded wood frame with a cardboard matte. Affixed to bottom of matte is a typed legend Franklin D. Roosevelt by James n. Jollatta President and Mrs. Roosevelt personally autographed this for me at Campobello, N.B. 1933. Through courtesy of E.W.Starling of Secret Service. An interesting and unique double autograph of President and First Lady. PROVENANCE: Robert D. Smith Autograph collection by descent through family, Bangor, Maine. SIGHT SIZE: 10” x 7 1/2”.
