K. B. HOBBS (20th Century) MAINE FARM. Hobbs was Belfast, Maine and obviously a student or follower of Waldo Pierce. There are a lot of characteristics reminiscent to Pierce. Oil on masonite scene depicts coastal Maine farm with horse in field. Signed lower right. SIZE: 13-1/2” x 19-1/2”. Including white painted oak frame: 23-1/2” h x 17-1/2” h.
