EARLY COBALT BLUE PRESSED GLASS VASE. Probably Sandwich Glass Works having a wide flaring rim, press decoration of oblong oval surrounded by foliate scrolls. Base is eight sided and tight rayed decoration below. Wonderful deep blue color with open pontil. SIZE: 5-1/2″ h x 4-1/2″ dia. on rim. CONDITION: Base has chips at pointed edges, generally very good. 9-90856 (500-1,000)
