CUT DOWN SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1861 RIFLE. Cal .58. 33” part oct bbl. Dated 1861on the lock. Bbl tang is a replacement with no number. The brass forearm tip and buttplate fit fairly well. NSN. CONDITION: Filed areas and heavy pitting. Stock has been repaired, refinished, heavily sanded and varnished. Lock is functional. 4-49578 X23 (300-500)
