HARPER’S FERRY MODEL 1855 RIFLE. Cal .58. 33” part oct bbl. Dated 1859 on lock and bbl. Sight is missing from patchbox. Ramrod nipple and some screws are replaced. Completely refinished. The cartouches are unreadable. Large “J.B.O.” carved in the left flat of the stock. NSN. CONDITION: Retains most of a smooth brown finish applied to bbl with a blue tinge to other parts. Stock has been sanded and varnished. Lock is fine. 4-49658 FS139 (1,000-2,000)
