ROBBINS & LAWRENCE MODEL 1841 MISSISSIPPI RIFLE. Cal .54. 33” round bbl. Faint cartouche on left side of stock is not readable. Dated 1849 on lockplate and bbl tang. Issue marks “72 / / F” on tang of buttplate. These is a spare nipple inside the patchbox. NSN. CONDITION: Gray patina with light pitting on iron parts, mellow patina on brass. Ramrod is a replacement. Stock has been broken, repaired and refinished. Lock is fine. 4-49741 FS125 (1,000-1,500)
