AUTOMATIC MELODISTA. Made by G.H.W. Bates, Boston. Ca. 1880’s 14-note paper roll, hand-operated tabletop reed organ with 5 rolls. Original finish with gold stenciling. Nice fancy Victorian S-crank. SIZE: 14″ l x 9″ h x 9-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Generally very nice and complete. Appears to be all-original and unrestored. Currently not playing, needs bellows work. Retains original instruction decals on bottom. 1-29091 (500-700)
