CASED NAVIGATIONAL GLOBE. Mahogany wood hinged case holds a printed globe with metal longitude ring. An outer crossed longitudinal ring, which can be moved, has slide and attached to top of longitudinal ring. The globe spins freely and can be set at angles. The globe is marked Cary & Co. Makers to the Admiralty 7 Pall Mall, London”. A brass ring is set in the wood case marked “Patn No 21540”. An instruction sheet is pasted to the upper cover. Also some directions on setting the globe are handwritten on a 1920’s shipping letterhead. SIZE: 8-1/2” h x 8” w x 8” d. CONDITION: Generally good, some minor imperfections. 9-94617 (1,000-2,000)
