SPENCER MODEL 1860 CIVIL WAR CARBINE. Cal .52. 22” round bbl. The hammer and hammer screw have been replaced. The initials “JHR” have been carved on the right side of the stock. SN 31972. CONDITION: Gray brown patina with light pitting except on butt and magazine witch have moderate pitting. Stock has been broken lengthwise and repaired using wood filler. A second break on top of the stock has not been repaired but there is a large amount of wood filler in that area still leaving gaps. The rear of the gun is loose. The individual parts are functional. 4-49807 X38 (1,000-2,000)
