MAYNARD CIVIL WAR CARBINE. Cal .50. 20” part oct bbl. “AGN” and “JM” cartouches on the left side of the stock. Dated 1865 on the trigger plate. SN 23189. CONDITION: 90% blue mixed with light pitting and surface rust on bbl. Action and lever are a blue gray patina also with light pitting. Buttplate has moderate to heavy pitting. Wood has been varnished over light dents and scratches with some new dents and paint splashes over the varnish. Action is good, bore is lightly pitted. 4-49568 X16 (1,200-1,800)
